Stainless Steel Alloy 347H

Stainless Steel Type 347H is a stainless steel made of chromium containing high carbon austenitic. Used for applications that needs high temperature resistance. Used for heavy welded equipment when annealing is not possible

• Higher carbon permits high temperature creep properties

Chemical Composition-

• Iron- In balanced form
• Chromium- Between 17-20%
• Nickel- Between 9-13%
• Carbon- Between 0.04-0.08%
• Manganese- Between 0.5-2.0%
• Sulfur- Up to 0.30% max
• Silicon- Up to 0.75% max
• Phosphorus- Up to 0.03% max
• Niobium/Tantalum- Up to 1% ma
